Come enjoy the excitement and entertainment of the 2009 Washington County Maryland's Ag Expo and Fair. This year's nightly events boasts Bull Riding, Demolition Durby, Tractor Pulls, Car Giveaway, Classic Car Show, Contemporary Praise & Worship Bands, Tug-Of-War, Motor Sport Thrill Show and Carnival rides. Additional activities include a 4H/FFA and Open Class Bake Sale, 4-H Fashion Review, Ag Expo and Fair Queen Contest, Milking Demonstrations, Petting Zoo & Children's Educational Activities (at the Ag Ventures Learning Center), Barnyard Olympics, Pedal, Youth & Garden Tractor Pulls, Babies on Parade, Pretty Animal Contest, Embroiders' Guild & Spinning & Weaving Demonstrations, 4H/FFA Market Animal Sale and many exhibits to browse through.
Concessions are scattered across the grounds and offer a variety of tasty foods. Grab a burger and fries or cool off with some homemade ice cream or a snow cone. Bring your chairs or sit on the bleachers, admission ranges from $2 to $10, children 8 and under get in free, Seniors admitted free on Tuesday July 21st from 8 a.m. -5 p.m.!
